Slim 16-50mm (24-75mm equivalent) with Optical SteadyShot.
The Sony ZV-E10 is a compact interchangeable-lens vlog camera made for content creation, with a big APS-C sensor in a small body. This kit is the original Sony ZV-E10 (not the ZV-E10 II) in black, paired with the E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS power zoom, a slim lens that gives a 24-75mm equivalent range and has optical stabilization built in.
Sony pairs a 24.2 MP Exmor CMOS sensor with the BIONZ X processor. Video on the Sony ZV-E10 records 4K at up to 30p oversampled from 6K with full pixel readout, and Full HD at up to 120p for slow motion, with S-Log2, S-Log3 and HLG available. Fast Hybrid AF uses 425 phase-detection points with Real-time Eye AF and tracking.
Creator controls include a Background Defocus button, a Product Showcase setting that shifts focus from your face to an object you hold up, and Face Priority AE. A 3-capsule directional microphone with a windscreen sits on top, and a 3-inch vari-angle touchscreen flips out to face you. The Sony ZV-E10 has no viewfinder; for movies, the lens's Optical SteadyShot can work with the camera's electronic Active mode.
The kit includes the camera, the 16-50mm lens with front and rear caps, the NP-FW50 battery, a body cap, accessory shoe cap and microphone windscreen. Add an SD card (Class 10 or faster, UHS Speed Class 3 for 100 Mbps 4K); the battery charges in the camera over USB. This vlog camera takes any Sony E-mount lens, APS-C or full-frame. Questions
Is this the ZV-E10 or the ZV-E10 II?
This is the original ZV-E10 (model ILCZVE10L/B) with the E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens. The ZV-E10 II is a newer model with a 26 MP sensor and a different model code.
Does the ZV-E10 have image stabilization?
The body has no sensor-shift stabilization. The included 16-50mm lens has Optical SteadyShot, and for movies the camera adds an electronic Active mode that crops the frame slightly.
What video resolution does the ZV-E10 record?
It records 4K at up to 30p, oversampled from 6K, and Full HD at up to 120p for slow motion, in the XAVC S format.
What memory card does the ZV-E10 need?
It has one slot for SD cards (UHS-I) or Memory Stick Duo. Sony asks for a Class 10 or faster SDHC/SDXC card for XAVC S video and UHS Speed Class 3 for 100 Mbps recording.
