The Traxxas 2970-3S completer pack gives a battery-less Traxxas truck everything it needs to run: a 2872X 3-cell 11.1-volt 5000 mAh 25C LiPo battery and a 2970 EZ-Peak Plus 4-amp charger. Both use Traxxas iD: plug the LiPo battery in, press Start, and the charger sets itself for that battery. It also has a LiPo storage mode and an advanced mode for manual settings.
Traxxas lists the Traxxas 2970-3S for many 1/10 scale models, including the Slash 4X4 Brushless (68454-4), Rustler 4X4 Brushless, Stampede 4X4 Brushless, Maxx and TRX-4 trucks. It does not fit the Mini Maxx, Mini Rally or Mini XRT: their battery bay is 113 mm long and this LiPo battery is 155 mm.
The charger in the Traxxas 2970-3S runs on 100 to 240 volt AC and charges 2-cell and 3-cell LiPo and 5 to 8 cell NiMH packs at 1 to 4 amps (40 W). Never leave a LiPo battery charging alone, and use the storage mode before you put it away for more than a few days. Ships by ground only (lithium battery). Not sure it fits your truck?
