Specs and details
Overview
The Hiboy Q2 Lite is an electric scooter for kids aged 5 to 8 who weigh up to 110 lb. Its maximum speed is 9 mph, and a parent can choose between three modes that cap it at 3, 6 or 9 mph. A gentle thumb throttle starts it smoothly. The maker rates the range at up to 5 miles, with a 100 W motor and a 56.16 Wh battery that charges in about 3 hours.
A soft seat lets the child sit or stand, a toy basket carries small items and soft grips suit small hands. The 8.5-inch tires are puncture-resistant, and braking combines an electronic brake with a drum brake. The Hiboy Q2 Lite weighs 25.8 lb and is rated IPX4, so light splashes only. The maker advises a helmet, protective gear and an adult nearby.
