Specs and details
Overview
The Hiboy Joy Haul is an electric scooter for kids aged 5 to 8, up to 110 lb. It is built on the same platform as the Q2 Lite and adds a shark-shaped zip bag that holds small toys and snacks. The maximum speed is 9 mph, and three modes cap it at 3, 6 or 9 mph so a parent can set the pace. A thumb throttle gives smooth starts.
The seat is removable, so the child can sit or stand. A 100 W motor and a 56.16 Wh battery give a maker-rated range of up to 5 miles, with charging taking 4.5 to 5.5 hours. The Hiboy Joy Haul has 8.5-inch puncture-resistant tires, an electronic brake plus a drum brake and an IPX4 rating, and it weighs 26.85 lb. The maker says it is not meant for extreme off-road use. An adult should supervise and a helmet should be worn.
